During the reporting period, the company's LCO sales rose 56.64% YoY, while power battery cathode material sales increased 20.76% YoY. Its financial position remained stable, with total assets at 15.853 billion yuan by period-end, up 6.26% from the previous year-end.

[Farasis Energy: Sulphide All-Solid-State Battery Pilot Line with 0.2GWh Designed Capacity Expected by Year-End]Farasis Energy indicated on an interactive platform that its all-solid-state battery development has progressed from lab to pilot production and delivery phase. A pilot line with 0.2GWh designed capacity for sulphide all-solid-state batteries is expected to be completed by the end of this year, with 60Ah sulphide all-solid-state batteries to be delivered to strategic partner clients. Beyond these partners, as a leader in all-solid-state battery development, the company has gained favour from multiple renowned NEV manufacturers, with subsequent sample deliveries anticipated to secure early positioning among top-tier clients. Aligned with client feedback and strategic planning, Farasis plans to scale up all-solid-state battery capacity to GWh level by 2026. (Cailian Press)

[NY Fed Survey: Consumers Find Auto Loans or Mortgage Refinancing More Accessible]The latest credit data from the New York Fed showed US households faced easier approval for mortgage refinancing or auto loans in June. The bank reported on Monday that mortgage refinancing rejection rates dropped to 15% in June from February's 42% peak (highest since fall 2013). Auto loan rejection rates also declined from 14% to 7% during the same period, though the decrease was relatively small. The NY Fed noted overall credit application and rejection rates remained basically stable over the past year. (Cailian Press)

[Ministry of Transport: Highway Service Area Charging Piles Coverage Reaches 98.4%]The State Council Information Office held a press conference on the morning of July 21 titled "High-Quality Completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan."Minister of Transport Liu Wei stated that the Ministry of Transport places great emphasis on ensuring traffic services during holidays on expressways. During peak travel periods, there are two main risks: congestion on roads around major cities and the strain on NEV charging facilities at service areas. For service areas with high charging demand, the ministry has implemented a "one-area-one-policy" approach to enhance services. To date, 62,000 charging parking spaces have been built, with the coverage rate of charging piles at service areas reaching 98.4%, effectively alleviating "range anxiety." The proportion of NEVs on expressways has increased to around 20% of daily traffic. (Cailian Press)

[Institutions: Canada's Share of North American Auto Production Falls to Lowest Level in Over 30 Years]According to an analysis by BMO Capital Markets, Canada's auto production in June dropped to its lowest level in two and a half years. The Canadian auto industry is in turmoil due to the 25% tariff imposed by former US President Trump on all foreign vehicles. Canadian automakers have either temporarily shut down some plant capacity or announced production cut plans. BMO noted that data shows North America's total auto assembly output fell 3.3% in H1, with Canada experiencing a steeper decline of 6.4%. In Q2, Canada's share of North American auto production dropped to 7.6%, the lowest in over 30 years. In June, Canada's auto assembly output fell 5.8% MoM, which BMO said could weigh on the country's Q2 GDP data.
